According to the commodity market analysis system, as of August 31, the average production price of ethyl acetate in China was 5,380.00 CNY/ton, a decrease of 66.67 CNY/ton compared to the beginning of the month at 5,446.67 CNY/ton, with an overall price decrease of 1.22%. The main reason is the continued weak downstream demand, slow market consumption, and high supply-side pressure, leading to a weaker sentiment among industry players. Under the ongoing supply-demand contradiction, the price of ethyl acetate has been declining.

Market Analysis: This month, the ethyl acetate market in China showed a downward trend. At the beginning of the month, raw material prices fell, and with weak demand downstream, influenced by bearish sentiment, ethyl acetate prices weakened. Although some export orders provided support, leading to a slight increase in ethyl acetate prices, overall demand was insufficient, and downstream support was limited. The ethyl acetate market continued to operate weakly. In the latter part of the month, a plant in Henan province was shut down, leading to expectations of reduced supply. Some manufacturers raised their quotations, but due to the lack of improvement in demand, prices were adjusted downward again at the end of the month.
