BASF Expands Architectural Coatings Dispersion Production Capacity in Turkey

BASF has launched a new production line at its Tilovasi site in Turkey, dedicated to producing dispersions for architectural coatings and building materials.

This expansion significantly increases Tilovasi's production capacity, enabling BASF to meet growing dispersion demand in Turkey, the Middle East, and Northwest Africa.

The new production line enables BASF to offer low-VOC (volatile organic compound) dispersions, thereby improving indoor air quality and better serving the architectural coatings and construction industries.

The Tilovasi site also utilizes a "mass balance" approach to reduce the carbon footprint of dispersion production. The entire site will be powered by green electricity, further demonstrating BASF's commitment to helping customers achieve a green transition.
