Robert's new launch of spirulina raw materials to share the large market for microalgae raw materials
Robertet, a French natural raw material and flavor and fragrance supplier, and Fleur de Vie, a microalga raw material producer, jointly launched a high-quality spirulina raw material called Spirulin Safe.
The production process of Spiruline Safe is unique and fully controllable. It uses a photobioreactor to maximize the use of natural light. The spirulina raw material is suitable for food supplements and other food and beverage products.
The two parties are currently jointly building the first production base of Spirulin Safe, located in Burosse-Mendousse in southwestern France. It is expected to be completed in the second half of this year and is expected to produce up to 50 tons of spirulina raw materials per year. Robert and Fleur de Vie are full of ambitions and plan to expand internationally (in the field of spirulina raw materials), and this is the first step. The cooperation between the two parties will target the EU and US markets. The marketing of Spiruline Safe will start at the end of this year.
Fleur de Vie is a start-up company founded in 2018, committed to the sustainable production of high-quality microalgae raw materials to meet the rising market demand. Robert holds a minority stake in Fleur de Vie. The two parties will cooperate more in addition to Spirulina to develop other patented microalgae raw materials to provide solutions for the dietary supplement and functional food markets.
