Ethyl Acetate Market Prices Adjusted and Risen
November 26 news
According to the commodity market analysis system, on November 26, the price of ethyl acetate was 5370.00 CNY/ton, an increase of 0.31% compared to the previous day. On November 26, the ethyl acetate index in China was 73.06, up 0.23 points from the previous day, down 50.73% from the highest point of 148.30 on September 27, 2021, and up 23.06% from the lowest point of 59.37 on September 7, 2016. (Note: The period refers to the time since September 1, 2011.)
Chinese ethyl acetate plants are operating stably with a generally high overall start-up rate. Downstream consumption is slow, and the market is mainly driven by demand. Ethyl acetate manufacturers are negotiating shipments, and the price of raw material acetic acid continues to rise. The intention to increase the price of ethyl acetate is strong, and under the influence of cost, the ethyl acetate market is adjusting upward.
Looking ahead, the acetic ester plants are operating steadily, but there is significant inventory pressure on the supply side. The downstream purchasing is limited, and the market is mainly in a wait-and-see mode. The strong upstream acetic acid market provides some support for the acetic ester market sentiment. It is expected that the acetic ester market will experience a narrow range consolidation in the short term. The specific future trend will depend on the raw material market and the follow-up situation of the downstream.
