Zhong'an United Polyethylene New Product M2320 was successfully developed
On July 6, the Zhongan United Polyethylene Plant tried to produce the new product M2320 for the first time, and the quality indicators were all qualified. The development of the new polyethylene product M2320 was a complete success.
This time, M2320 was developed and produced for the first time in a gas phase polyethylene plant of Sinopec, with a large span of polymerization parameters and high production difficulty. In order to ensure the success of the first conversion and reduce the production of transitional materials, Zhong'an jointly compiled a detailed trial production plan, and based on the product-related performance indicators, formulated three product grades during the transition period, effectively reducing the transitional materials for this conversion by about 300 tons.
M2320 is a high-melt injection molding grade linear polyethylene product, which has good environmental stress crack resistance, impact resistance and tear resistance. It is widely used in industries, agriculture, medicine, hygiene and daily necessities. The annual demand for this product in the Anhui market is 20,000 to 30,000 tons, and it can be used to produce cable insulation materials, color masterbatch modified materials, etc. The current market has a relatively high price difference between similar products and general materials, and the economic benefits are significant.
Based on the "high-end and differentiated" product route, Zhongan United actively seeks to produce new polyethylene products with strong profitability, opens up new product applications, and avoids low-price competition in the general-purpose membrane material market.
Since the beginning of this year, Zhongan has jointly strengthened technical exchanges with Sinopec Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Catalyst Branch, Chemical Marketing East China Branch and other units, deepened the integration of production, marketing, research and application, and actively promoted the development of new products.
In the first half of the year, the polyethylene plant completed a cumulative output of 181,000 tons, 2.5% more than planned. Among them, the proportion of special materials for new products has exceeded 30%, an increase of 18% from last year, laying a solid foundation for the joint efforts of Zhongan to achieve new results.
