What is the focus of this environmental inspection?

Shandong: more than 6000 chemical companies

Shandong Province is a major chemical province in the country, with a relatively high proportion of traditional industries and heavy chemical industries. The total chemical economy has ranked first in the country for 28 consecutive years. At present, there are more than 6000 chemical production enterprises in Shandong Province, 834 hazardous chemical transportation enterprises, 849 storage management enterprises, 2,847 chemical enterprises above designated size, and 84 chemical parks. Shandong Province owns 11% of the country’s listed chemical companies. At present, a relatively complete industrial system has been formed from upstream crude oil extraction, oil refining, ethylene production to downstream synthetic materials, rubber processing, and fine chemicals, and its scale plays a decisive role in the country.

Well-known chemical companies in Shandong include Dawn Titanium, Wanhua Chemical, Qixiang Tengda, Dongming Chemical, Lihua Yiweiyuan, Dongyue Chemical, Shandong Jinling, etc. In addition, Pentium Paint, Lehua Enterprise, Qilu Enterprise, Sai Well-known coating companies such as Deli Paint Industry and Shandong Zhongke Boce are also located in Shandong Province.

According to previous feedback from the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspector to Shandong Province and special inspection opinions, Shandong still has problems such as weak energy structure adjustment, weak steel pressing work, serious lack of oil product supervision, and serious pollution by some small business clusters. Whether these problems have been effectively rectified should also be one of the focuses of the inspectors this time.

Guangdong: more than 2,000 chemical companies

Guangdong Province is a major paint province and a major chemical town. There are more than 2,000 local chemical companies. They are mainly famous in the national coatings market for home decoration wood coatings and architectural coatings. The industrial coatings in the province are also in the automotive paint, rail transit and container anticorrosion fields. Leading position in China, including Taiwanese-funded company Dongguan Dabao, Hong Kong-funded company Zhonghua Paint, national companies Bardez, Carpoli, Meitus, Zhanchen, etc. At the same time, "hidden champions" in different fields were born.

Previously, the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspector gave Guangdong Province a "look back" and the special inspections pointed out that Guangdong has problems such as structural imbalance in solid waste disposal capacity, rampant illegal transfer and dumping, and serious problems with illegal and illegal disposal. The effect of the subsequent rectification is yet to be tested by the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspector.

Hubei: More than 1,000 chemical companies

Hubei Province is one of the major industrial provinces in China. The chemical industry in Hubei Province occupies a certain dominant position in some product fields. The phosphorus chemical industry chain has the most eye-catching and representative performance, including phosphate rock and monoammonium phosphate products. Maximum production capacity. There are more than 1,000 chemical companies in Hubei. Well-known chemical companies include Xingfa Chemical, Sanning Chemical, and Yihua Chemical. Coating companies include Yili Paint, Shuanghu Paint, Swan Paint, etc.

As the "throat" of the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River, Hubei Province is facing a strategic opportunity for the green rise of the central region, and the ecological environment cannot be ignored. Industrial pollution and environmental risks along the Yangtze River are still prominent, illegal dock cleaning and rectification are not in place, ship pollution and risk issues are the previous feedback from the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Team to Hubei Province and the opinions of special inspections. Sichuan: More than 1,000 chemical companies

Sichuan Province has a relatively complete chemical industry system and a relatively concentrated layout. It is an important natural gas chemical production and research and development base in the country. The production capacity of chemical fertilizers, melamine and other products ranks first in the country. There are more than 1,000 chemical companies in Sichuan Province and more than 200 coating companies, including well-known coating companies Clivia Coatings, Chengdu Aiyue Powder Coatings, Chengdu Hongrun Paints, etc. In addition, Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province is the most concentrated area of titanium dioxide enterprises in the country, and Taihai Technology, Tianlun Chemical, Titanium Chemical, Dahutong Titanium and other enterprises are all well-known titanium dioxide enterprises in the country.

As an ecological safety barrier for the upper reaches of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, Sichuan has become an important guideline for Sichuan to adhere to ecological priority and green development. Prior to this, the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Team reported back to Sichuan Province the "looking back" and special inspections, pointing out the problems of inadequate management of environmental infrastructure construction, serious agricultural and rural pollution, and insufficient remediation of black and odorous water bodies.

Jilin Province: More than 500 chemical companies

There are currently 11 chemical industrial parks in Jilin Province. Among them, the Jilin Chemical Industry Circular Economy Demonstration Park is the first chemical industrial circular economy demonstration park in Northeast China. Jilin City, where it is located, is the earliest chemical industry base in my country and is known as the "Chemical City". There is the largest ABS production base in Northeast China, the first set of acrylonitrile, methyl methacrylate and other sets of equipment in the country. EPDM has filled the domestic gap, high-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, alcohol The production capacity of ether and butyl/octanol ranks among the top three in the country, and there are more than 500 chemical companies in Jilin Province.

Jilin Province’s industrial structure tends to lean toward chemical industry, energy structure leans toward coal, transportation structure leans toward roads, and land use structure leans toward extensive problems. The carbon emission intensity is still at a high level. Previously, the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection Team reported to Jilin Province whether the "looking back" and special inspections were appropriate for the lack of remediation of black and odorous water bodies, slow remediation of sewage outlets in the river, lagging environmental infrastructure construction, and lagging construction of sewage treatment facilities in industrial parks. The solution remains to be found out by this inspector.
