BASF Releases the Force Majeure of n-Butanol in Ludwig Port, Germany

ECHEMI 2019-04-04

A spokesman for the company confirmed on November 22 that this week Basf, a petrochemical manufacturer, had removed the force majeure of n-butanol from its production base in Port Ludwig, Germany.

The spokesman said earlier that the company declared force majeure at the end of October because of "unforeseen problems beyond BASF's control during the scheduled restart period". It is not clear whether the force majeure of isobutanol still exists。
