The only Asian paint brand on the list', Nippon has been among the top 500 Asian brands for 16 consecutive years
The "Asia Brand Conference" hosted by the World Brand Lab recently released the 2021 "Top 500 Asian Brands" rankings. Nippon Paint became the only Asian paint brand on the list, and it was also on the list for the 16th consecutive year.
The "Top 500 Asian Brands" has been released annually since 2006. This year, 500 brands from 19 countries and regions have been selected. ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) scores have been included in the Asian brand evaluation system for the first time. Facing the economic stagnation caused by the new crown epidemic, all industries have been affected to varying degrees. Under this circumstance, Nippon bucked the trend and its ranking jumped 5 places from the previous year.
The criterion of "Top 500 Asian Brands" is the brand's Asian influence, which refers to the brand's ability to open up the market, occupy the market, and make profits. The basic indicators used by the World Brand Lab to evaluate the influence of Asian brands include market share, brand loyalty and Asian leadership. For the Asian leadership, for the first time, the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) score of the authoritative analysis company Super Finance is referenced.
Thanks to the continuous practice of Nippon's corporate mission of "refreshing a better living space", Nippon has repeatedly ranked among the authoritative lists released by "Painting World" in 2021: ranked among the top ten global coating manufacturers and the top 100 global coating companies in 2021 Ranked No. 4; Ranked No. 1 in the 2021 Asia-Pacific Top 50 Coatings Companies List. In addition, in the latest series of authoritative sub-lists released by "Paint World", Nippon Paint ranks among the top in the global industry in terms of production and sales of the three major businesses of decorative coatings, automotive coatings and industrial coatings.
Being on the "Top 500 Asian Brands" for 16 consecutive years is a recognition of Nippon's strong brand strength for many years. In the future, Nippon Paint will continue to explore market demand, continuously upgrade and innovate products and services, and continue to help the coatings industry to develop vigorously.
