Donghua Energy (Ningbo) New Materials Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary company of Donghua Energy (002221). The hidden dangers of the company include: the construction of hazardous waste warehouses is not standardized, no waste gas collection and treatment facilities are built, diversion ditches and collection pools are not built in accordance with the specifications; there are large environmental safety risks in the handling, storage and transshipment of waste dechlorinating agents (hazardous wastes). The annual report shows that Donghua Energy (Ningbo) New Materials Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in propylene and polypropylene production and sales, with a net profit of 309 million yuan and a revenue of 4.422 billion yuan in 2018.

Zhejiang Hongsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary company of Zhejiang Longsheng (600352). The hidden dangers of the company include: insufficient safety distance between hydrogenation unit and East class A unit; insufficient installation of flammable or toxic gas alarm devices in hydrogenation unit and nitric acid unloading area of tank area; some flammable gas detectors have not been calibrated as required; and the storage tank area of the third plant constitutes a major hazard source, which is not in accordance with the requirements. Regulations require management. The main products of Zhejiang Hongsheng Chemical Co., Ltd. include resorcinol and other intermediates. In 2018, the company achieved total revenue of 3.091 billion yuan and net profit of 1.14 billion yuan.

According to the notification of the first batch of dangerous chemicals listing supervisory office in Zhejiang Province, all supervisory units should report the provincial listing hidden danger rectification plan to the provincial security committee office before April 25, 2019. Donghua Energy Bulletin said that in March 2019, Ningbo New Materials received a safety inspection notice from the local government of Zhejiang Province. Ningbo New Materials immediately conducted a comprehensive safety investigation, and actively rectified potential safety hazards in strict accordance with the relevant national laws and regulations on safety production and the requirements of the local government for safety production. The rectification was completed in early April. The company will continue to strengthen the safety management work and firmly build the foundation of safe production.

Zhejiang Longsheng Announcement said that on March 29, 2019, the Emergency Management Bureau of Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, carried out a special safety inspection on Hongsheng, Zhejiang Province. After the inspection, Zhejiang Hongsheng made positive rectifications to the safety problems detected in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations, industry standards and local governments at all levels. Before the completion of the rectification, Zhejiang Hongsheng did not stop production during the rectification period. At present, all subsidiaries related to the company's intermediary business are in normal production and operation.
