Shanxi Establishes the Report System of Coal Mine Construction Project Start-up

A few days ago, from the Shanxi Emergency Management Department, it was learned that Shanxi Province decided to establish a report system for the start of coal mine construction projects.

The Shanxi Emergency Management Department requires that within five working days after the coal mine construction project has obtained the approval of the relevant departments to start construction, the construction units should make graded reports, the coal mines directly supervised at the municipal level report to the municipal emergency management bureau, and the coal mines directly supervised at the county level report to the county emergency management bureau. At the same time, the report shall be submitted step by step. After the County Emergency Management Bureau receives the report, it should report to the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau within five working days; after the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau receives the report, it should report to the Provincial Emergency Management Bureau within five working days.

The report includes the basic information of the construction site, scale, construction period, gas grade, hydrogeologic type, mining license, business license, approval of start-up construction and relevant qualification certificates of construction units and supervision units.

Wang Yicheng, Director of Coal Mine Safety Comprehensive Department of Shanxi Emergency Management Department, said that the implementation of coal mine construction project start-up report is a manifestation of coal mine enterprises'conscious acceptance of territorial safety supervision, but also the need to strengthen the safety supervision of coal mine construction.
