Trinseo And Heathland B.V. Reach Final Acquisition Agreement
On December 7, 2021, Trinseo announced that it had reached a final acquisition agreement with Heathland B.V. ("Heathland").
Heathland is Europe's leading post-consumer (PCR, EoL) and post-industrial (PIR) plastic waste recycling company.
Headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, Heathland is a plastic waste recycling company that specializes in the recycling of post-consumer and post-industrial polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polystyrene (PS) and other thermoplastic wastes.
The company uses mechanical and chemical recycling processes to collect, process and process plastic waste, and convert recycled materials into high-quality recycled materials, which are used in a series of high-end applications to fully reflect the maximum value of materials.
Heathland enjoys a high reputation in Europe and has participated in many prestigious projects, including the MMATwo and Revolution projects invested by the European Commission's "Horizon 2020" plan.
