Trinseo launches LIGOS C 9031 for high-performance coatings
Trinseo has launched LIGOS C 9031, a two-in-one solution for premium durable interior wall paint applications (LPVCL, HPVCL and quartz types of paints). The new styrene acrylic emulsion offers excellent wash and scrub resistance and can be easily touched up without affecting the finished application.
LIGOS C 9031 features built-in viscosity control, allowing manufacturers to adjust the viscosity pH and optimize thickener usage. Its superior formulation properties give it low viscosity for clog-free spraying, medium viscosity for excellent thickness control, and low drag during roller and brush application.
The emulsion is also part of Trinseo’s CO2NET portfolio, designed to produce at least 50% less carbon emissions than its full premium counterparts. In addition, LIGOS C 9031 meets Nordic Swam ecolabel, EC1+ and Blue Angel standards, while being low in VOCs.
