Guofeng Plastic Industry: 2 More Polyimide Film Production Lines Are Put Into Operation

On January 7, Anhui Guofeng Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. issued an announcement on the progress of the polyimide film project: the two thermal polyimide film production lines purchased by the company in October 2020 are completing the installation, commissioning and feeding After the relevant procedures of the test run, it has been successfully started and put into production.

At present, Guofeng Plastics has 4 polyimide film production lines located in Mingchuan Road Park, Hefei. The annual production capacity of the two previous production lines was 180 tons, and the orders were abundant. The two new production lines are mainly polyimide films for flexible circuits and polyimide carbon-based films for graphite thermal conductivity.

Big moves in 2021

In February 2021, the investment cooperation framework agreement signed between Guofeng Plastic Industry and Hefei Xinzhan High-tech Zone Management Committee revealed that the total investment of the electronic-grade polyimide material production base project under planning and construction is about 2.38 billion yuan. Among them, the total investment of the first phase is about 900 million yuan, and the annual output of polyimide film is expected to be 900 tons, with an annual output value of about 400 million yuan. Amine film, 2,000 tons of polyimide slurry, with an annual output value of about 1.2 billion yuan.

On June 27, 2021, Guofeng Plastic Industry announced that in order to promote the development of the company's electronic-grade polyimide material industry, the company recently signed a contract with the Advanced Technology Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China (hereinafter referred to as the "Advanced Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China"). The cooperation agreement decided to jointly establish the "China University of Science and Technology Advanced Research Institute-Guofeng Plastic Industry New Display and Integrated Circuit PI Materials Joint Laboratory".

The company will speed up the construction of polyimide-related projects, expand the production scale, and break through the international technology monopoly.
