Ascend Nylon Resin Industry Chain Project Signed A Contract And Settled In Lianyungang
On January 12, Ascend Functional Materials, a world-renowned large-scale integrated PA66 product manufacturer, announced that it will build a new production base in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province to produce hexamethylenediamine and specialty chemicals to further expand its global presence.
The investment is Ascend's first chemical production site outside the United States and the company's largest investment outside the United States to date. Ascend's Lianyungang production base will start construction in 2022 and is expected to officially start production in the second half of 2023.
This project is another key project following a series of acquisitions and capacity investments by Ascend. Previously, Ascend announced its first acquisition in Tilburg, the Netherlands in 2018, followed by several acquisitions in Mozarté, Italy, Suzhou, China, and Fossay, France in the following three years, and will complete the acquisition in Mexico within this year. , and the earlier announced construction of the Asia Pacific Innovation Center.
