Optimize service effectiveness

"We gather service resources and continuously improve the SME service system through the synergy of SME service platform network and SME public service demonstration platform." Wang Yanqin, deputy director of the SME Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, introduced.

In Beijing, the SME service platform covering municipalities, districts and professional service providers has been built. "More than 300 professional service providers provide more than 1,000 service products for SMEs in eight areas, such as information and consultation, technical support, entrepreneurial counseling and market development." Wang Lei, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, told reporters that last year, a total of more than 1,500 activities such as "SME Service Month" were carried out, serving more than 1 million SMEs.

In Jiangsu, the "Specialized and New" enterprise high-quality development tour activities are carried out in an orderly manner. "We organize experts into enterprises to help them identify management deficiencies and effectively solve their operational problems." Ming Feng, deputy director of Jiangsu SME Development Center, introduced that from 2020 to 2021, the province will consult more than 190 "special and new" SMEs and diagnose 86 enterprises in depth.

Supporting the innovation and development of SMEs is a long-term systematic work, how to further enhance the innovation ability and specialization of SMEs? Sun Wenkai suggested that all regions should support SMEs to establish technology innovation centers and increase R&D investment by means of financial support.

For typical application scenarios, guide digital service providers to develop easy-to-use and low-cost digital solutions for SMEs; the attraction of high-level talents should be increased, and order-based talent training should be carried out jointly with universities to achieve consistency between talents and enterprise needs.

Tang Xuefeng believes that the protection of intellectual property rights should also be increased to improve the cost of infringement.
