She said that the prohibited ingredients involved in these cosmetics are the antibiotics, powerful hormones, anti-allergic drugs, antifungal drugs that are expressly prohibited in China, which may not only cause skin destruction but also serious consequences for long-term use.

The State Drug Administration issued a notice detailing eight batches of cosmetics and the detection of banned ingredients. They are clindamycin, lincomycin, dexamethasone, cetirizine, ketoconazole and miconazole, clobetasol propionate, a total of seven kinds.

Wu Juan introduced, anti-acne skin care products added clindamycin, lincomycin + are antibiotics, the purpose is to increase the efficacy of acne. Antibiotic ingredients, if used daily, can easily cause local skin flora dysbiosis, or the formation of drug resistance.

"Dexamethasone and clobetasol propionate are strong hormones." Wu Juan said the common hormonal face in the clinic is caused by long-term use of skin care products containing added hormones or direct use of hormonal drugs. Long-term topical application of strong hormones on the skin may cause skin atrophy and cause hormone-dependent dermatitis. Ketoconazole and miconazole are antifungal drugs, long-term use is also likely to lead to skin flora imbalance.

The 8 batches of cosmetics in the notice, 6 are acne products. Wu Juan introduced the complex causes of skin acne, in addition to standardized drug treatment, the reasonable use of cosmetics is also very important, frequent cleaning and excessive skin care but to help the evil. It is best to use oil control and moisturizing series of skin care products when you have acne, and it is not recommended to use masks frequently to avoid aggravating acne by over hydration of the skin.

Wu Juan revealed that in cosmetic dermatitis clinics, the vast majority of patients have adverse reactions such as redness, swelling, rashes and stinging after using certain cosmetics for a long time, and few people suspect that it is a cosmetic problem, but only treat it as a general skin allergy.

She reminds that when skin problems occur, it is important to see a dermatologist instead of choosing cosmetics to deal with skin problems as your own doctor.
