3 projects in Anhui are listed in the key projects of the national coal-power JV

In order to promote the simultaneous, healthy and sustainable development of coal and power industries, give full play to the leading and demonstrating role of key projects, and form a replicable development model of coal-electricity pooling, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Energy Administration have selected 15 coal-electricity pooling projects with representative demonstration functions throughout the country, which have been identified as the first batch of key promotion projects of coal-electricity pooling in the country. Anhui Huaihu Coal and Electricity Field Power Plant, Huaizhe Coal and Electricity Fengtai Power Plant and Zhongshan New Jilising Banji Power Plant have been approved to be listed in the first batch of key coal and electricity joint venture projects in China.
The development of coal-electricity pooling is conducive to optimizing the allocation of resources and alleviating the contradiction between coal and electricity. It is an important means to ensure the coordinated and sustainable development of the coal and power industries. It not only helps the coal industry to resolve backward production capacity and increase scientific and effective supply, but also helps to stabilize the fuel supply of the coal-electricity industry and improve the ability to resist risks. As an important coal-power base in China, Anhui Province has actively developed coal-electricity integration and joint-venture projects since the 11th Five-Year Plan, encouraged coal enterprises in the province to build pithead power plants and participate in coal-power projects, effectively promoted coordinated development of coal resources in the province, and guaranteed reliable energy supply in the province. Anhui Province will actively publicize and popularize the advanced experience and policy measures of the coal-electricity joint venture project in accordance with the unified deployment of the National Development and Reform Commission and the State Energy Administration. According to the requirement of high-quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta area, a number of pithead coal-fired power projects are planned in the Lianghuai mining area to provide reliable energy guarantee for the Yangtze River Delta area.
