Trinseo Announces Price Hikes for PC, PS And Copolymers in Europe
Trinseo's European subsidiary recently announced price increases for all polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), ABS and SAN grades. This price adjustment will take effect from March 8 or depending on the existing contract terms. The contract and spot prices of the following products have been adjusted to reflect the current market conditions as follows:
• STYRON™ GPPS resin +350 euros/ton (about 2410 CNY/ton)
• STYRON™, STYRON™ A-TECH, STYRON™ C-TECH and STYRON™ X-TECH HIPS resins +350 Euro/ton (about RMB 2410/ton)
•CALIBRE™ PC resin +500 euros/ton (about 3443 CNY/ton)
MAGNUM™ ABS resin +350 euros/ton (about 2410 CNY/ton)
•TYRIL™ SAN resin +350 euros/ton (about 2410 CNY/ton)
