In June, China's logistics industry boom index dropped by 0.9 percentage points

The China Logistics and Purchasing Federation just released the China Logistics Industry Prosperity Index in June, which was 51.9%, down 0.9 percentage points from last month. What is the reason for the decline of the index? Which industries are in the forefront of the decline? In June, the prosperity index of China's logistics industry declined, but it still operates in the prosperity zone, reflecting that the current logistics operation continues to maintain an active trend, especially affected by the promotional activities in the e-commerce year, the logistics demand of consumer goods related to people's livelihood, such as food, household appliances, cosmetics and daily necessities, has increased significantly. In addition, logistics demand for timber, non-ferrous metals, chemical and mineral products continued to grow. From the industry point of view, the express express express industry, water transport industry and other industries continue to grow. It is worth noting that commodity logistics, mainly steel and coal, has declined significantly, which is also the core reason for the overall downward trend of the boom index in June. He Hui, Director of China Logistics Information Center:
Index decline is mainly affected by seasonal factors, because the arrival of high temperature season has some impact on logistics activities. In addition, structural adjustment and downward economic pressure also have some effects.
From the later trend, the expected index of logistics business activities and the new order index have all fallen back, which indicates that the growth momentum of logistics activities will continue to slow down in the later period.
