Recently, the Autonomous Region Market Supervision Bureau issued a circular requesting market supervision departments at all levels to do a good job in food safety supervision to ensure food safety in flood season and prevent food poisoning incidents.

In view of the food safety problems which are very easy to occur in flood-affected areas, such as food immersion, contamination, deterioration and derivation, the notification requires that in flood-affected areas, market supervision departments should take prompt action to carry out timely food risk investigation and prevent blisters, dampness, contamination and deterioration of food on the market. On sale, we should strictly check the behavior of selling deteriorated and contaminated food after changing packaging; we should strengthen the supervision and management of food raw materials and containers, pay attention to the inspection of disinfection of drinking water in disaster-stricken settlements, school canteens and canteens on construction sites; and go deep into food production, operation, catering units and agricultural and trade markets. To carry out hidden danger investigation, strictly urge owners to implement the system of food purchase claim for certificates and tickets, strictly prevent contaminated food, food of unknown origin, soaked food and raw materials, semi-finished products, dead and drowned livestock and other substandard food from flowing into food production, marketing and catering services; to guide and urge food production Operators should strengthen environmental hygiene management, carefully clean and disinfect all kinds of facilities and equipment before reopening, strictly prevent cross-contamination, and ensure that there are no mass food poisoning incidents in disaster areas.
