Beijing Fengtai District Issued the First Small-scale Food Production License

On July 10, Beijing Youth Daily reporters learned from Fengtai District Market Supervision Bureau that Lugouqiao Street Food and Drug Institute issued the first small-scale food production and operation license to Beijing Yanye Food Management Co., Ltd. in accordance with the requirements of record review, which is also the first small-scale food production and operation license issued by the whole city. It is understood that the Regulations on the Management of Small-scale Food Production and Management in Beijing and the Measures for the Management of the Registration of Licenses for Small-scale Food Production and Management in Beijing (Trial Implementation) will be implemented on July 1, 2019. The new regulations have tightened the management of small-scale food production and operation activities, and made clear the requirements for food production and operation of small workshops, small restaurants, snack groceries and food vendors. It is helpful to improve the overall level of food safety in this city and reduce the potential risks of food safety. After the implementation of the new regulations, small workshops and restaurants apply for permission, snack and grocery stores apply for filing are immediately processed. If the application materials are complete and meet the conditions for issuance, the application shall be processed on the same day, and the application shall be issued on the same day. Faster start-up time will reduce the time cost of applicants.
According to the relevant person in charge of Fengtai District Market Supervision Bureau, Fengtai District mainly involves the issuance of production and operation licenses for small catering and grocery stores. Since the implementation of the new regulations, as of July 10, 41 small catering licenses have been granted in Fengtai District, an increase of 127% over the previous year. In addition, 15 snack and grocery stores have been approved since the implementation of the new regulations. In Fengtai District, in order to facilitate the applicants to handle relevant matters nearby and to facilitate the effective promotion of the convergence of boarding and management, the new policy-related permits and filing authority were delegated to grass-roots food and drug establishments to shorten the time and distance for citizens to handle and improve their efficiency. In addition, all licensing items can be "imported and exported at one mouth".
In addition, the reporter of Beiqing Daily learned that the Food and Beverage Section of Fengtai District Market Supervision Bureau led the production of "Operational Guidelines for Administrative Licensing of Food and Beverage Links (Trial Implementation)", clarifying the location and content of relevant licensing of food and beverage links, and guiding the development of licensing work. Timely answering questions and answering doubts by telephone and Wechat working groups will promote more rapid handling of related matters.
