The new regulations have tightened the management of small-scale food production and operation activities, and made clear the requirements for food production and operation of small workshops, small restaurants, snack groceries and food vendors. Since the implementation of the new regulations, as of July 10, 41 small catering licenses have been granted in Fengtai District, an increase of 127% over the previous year. In addition, 15 snack and grocery stores have been approved since the implementation of the new regulations.
