With Estee Lauder, Tom Ford has entered the field of higher-end skin care

Tom Ford will work with cosmetics giant Estee Lauder Group to create a new high-end skin care product line - "Tom Ford Research". Recently, Tom Ford, the new chairman, designer and filmmaker of the American Fashion Designers Association (CFDA), revealed that his luxury brand Tom Ford would join hands with cosmetics giant Estee Lauder Group to create a new high-end skin care product line, Tom Ford Research.
It has learned that the series will launch two skin care products featuring the characteristics of caffeine and Japanese green tea Gyokuro: the cream of $350 and the cream of cream of $450. The two products will be first sold in the U.S. market in August through Saks Fifth Avenue boutique stores and Tom Ford online and offline channels, and will be available in September for international markets. The following three products will be released and sold in March next year.
Tom Ford was founded in 2005 by Tom Ford, a famous designer and film producer. From the initial Menswear business, it has expanded to a complete menswear, women's wear, accessories, glasses, cosmetics and watches series. In 2006, Tom Ford entered into a partnership with Estee Lauder, a cosmetics giant, to jointly develop its cosmetics business, Tom Ford Beauty. Tom Ford Beauty first launched perfume products in 2011, including a small amount of regular skin care products.
Tom Ford said: "I hope to create a series of skincare based on scientific skincare concept. Caffeine and green tea ingredients are the focus of our recent research. A few years ago, a dermatologist told me that the best way to get rid of the edema in my eyes was to use a wet tea bag.

Tom Ford started his career as a design assistant for designer Cathy Hardwick. He himself joined CFDA in 2000. Seven CFDA Fashion Awards have been won so far, including Men's Designer of the Year (2008, 2015), Women's Designer of the Year (2001), Accessory Designer of the Year (2002), Board of Directors Salute Award (2004), International Designer of the Year (1995) and Geoffrey Beene Lifelong Achievement Award (2014). From 1994 to 2004, Tom Ford, the creative director of Gucci, an Italian luxury brand, contributed a lot to the brand's overall revival. He also served as the creative director of Yves Saint Laurent, a French designer brand acquired by Gucci. In April 2005, Tom Ford left Gucci and founded the same name brand, initially focusing on men's wear. Today, the Tom Ford brand has expanded to a complete menswear, women's wear, accessories, glasses, cosmetics series, as well as the recently launched underwear and watch series.
