Net profit of central enterprises reached 158.49 billion yuan in June

The State New Office held a press conference today (16). SASASAC of the State Council informed us that the revenue and profit of central enterprises continued to grow steadily in the first half of the year. In the first half of the year, the central enterprises accumulated 14.5 trillion yuan in business income, an increase of 5.9% over the same period of last year, and a cumulative net profit of 703.77 billion yuan, an increase of 8.6% over the same period of last year. Peng Huagang, Secretary-General of SASASAC of the State Council: In June, the central enterprises realized net profit of 158.49 billion yuan and total profit of 217.18 billion yuan, which is the best level in the history of our central enterprises. The profits of 34 state-owned enterprises increased by more than 20%, and those of 53 state-owned enterprises increased by more than 10%. In the first half of the year, the net profit of iron and steel, mining, power generation, construction and military industries increased rapidly, while that of machinery, transportation and other industries increased steadily.
