Junzheng Group Starts Construction Of 1.2 Million Tons Of Bdo + 2 Million Tons Of Degradable Materials Project
Recently, Junzheng Group officially started the construction of the first phase of a green, low-carbon and environmentally friendly biodegradable plastic recycling industry project in Wuda Industrial Park, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia.
The project, with an investment of RMB 20.7 billion, is located in Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia, which has already formed the "coal chemical industry" and "acetylene chemical industry", thanks to its unique resource advantages. "The biodegradable plastics project is a product of the "high coupling of two chemicals" based on this industrial advantage, which also brings production capacity and cost advantages.

The project meets the requirements of the industry's clean production standards in terms of energy saving, safety, environmental protection, quality and automation, and the energy consumption indicators are lower than the domestic advanced level.
The coking plant adopts the largest and most advanced 6.78m tamping coke oven integrated independently in China, with environmental protection and energy-saving facilities for the utilisation of waste heat from dry quenching coke, and comprehensive utilisation technology for coke oven tail gas to realise the comprehensive utilisation of coke oven tail gas and waste heat steam to downstream chemical products.
The acetylene plant adopts the world's most advanced 81000KVA calcium carbide furnace with Junzheng's own intellectual property rights and the production process.
The BDO plant introduces KTS (formerly INVISTA) BDO (1,4-butanediol) technology from the UK, with an annual capacity of 300,000 tonnes per set, which is the largest single-line capacity plant in the world.
The PBAT plant adopts the low temperature short flow direct esterification synthesis method developed independently in China, with short flow, high efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection, and excellent product quality.
In June 2021, Inner Mongolia Junzheng Energy & Chemical Group Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with the Wuhai Municipal Government for the first phase of a green, low-carbon and environmentally friendly biodegradable plastic recycling industry project.
