Profits of state-owned enterprises increased by 7.2% year-on-year.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Finance on the 23rd, the main economic indicators of state-owned and state-owned holding enterprises in the first half of the year continued to grow, but the growth rate of profits further slowed down. The data shows that in the first half of the year, the profit of state-owned enterprises totaled 1820.04 billion yuan, up 7.2% year on year, and the growth rate slowed down compared with the first quarter. Among them, the central enterprises amounted to 1217.53 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8% over the same period of last year; the local state-owned enterprises amounted to 602.51 billion yuan, an increase of 4.1% over the same period of last year. Total operating income of state-owned enterprises was 2949.21 billion yuan, an increase of 7.8% over the same period last year. By the end of June, the total assets of state-owned enterprises amounted to 194,966.58 billion yuan, an increase of 8.9% over the previous year. The asset-liability ratio of state-owned enterprises was 64.5%, which was reduced by 0.1 percentage points.
