The purchase of raw coal in Qinghai Province increased by 2.2 times

According to data released by Qinghai Statistical Bureau recently, in the first half of 2019, the total purchase and sale of raw coal in Qinghai Province dropped by 2% compared with the same period last year, to 559.07 million tons, due to the weak influence of both supply and demand in the coal market. Among them, the purchase volume was 2.8469 million tons, up 1.6% from the same period last year, while the sales volume was 2.7438 million tons, down 5.4% from the same period last year. From the perspective of inflow and outflow from outside the province, the original coal purchased from outside the province was 431,600 tons, an increase of 2.2 times over the same period of last year, while the amount sold to outside the province was 176,100 tons, a decrease of 19.2% over the same period of last year. In addition, in the first half of 2019, the total amount of coke purchases and sales in Qinghai Province was 1.0801 million tons, an increase of 1.2 times over the same period last year. Among them, the purchase volume was 538,500 tons, an increase of 1.1 times over the previous year, and the sales volume was 541,600 tons, an increase of 1.2 times over the previous year.

From the perspective of inflow and outflow from outside the province, the original coal purchased from outside the province was 1549,000 tons, up 77.2% year-on-year; the export volume to the province was 1569,000 tons, up 79.5% year-on-year.
