Wanhua Chemicals Acquisition of 100% Equity in Swedish International Chemicals

Wanhua Chemicals (Hungary) Holding Co., Ltd., a wholly foreign-owned subsidiary of Wanhua Chemicals, has acquired 100% of Chemature Technologies AB (Swedish International Workers) in a total amount of 925 million yuan, according to a recent announcement issued by Wanhua Chemicals. The announcement said that Wanhua Chemicals had recently received notification from Wanhua Chemicals (Hungary) Holding Co., Ltd., a wholly foreign-owned subsidiary company, that it had completed the purchase of 100% equity of Swedish international workers held by Jilin Cornell Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Euro-American Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and that the transfer formalities had been completed. It is known that Sweden International Chemical Company is mainly engaged in technology research and development, foreign technology licensing, engineering design and technical consulting services related to technology licensing, and has its own technology such as MDI, TDI, hydrogen peroxide and biochemical industry. The purpose of this acquisition is to optimize the company's R&D capabilities in Europe and to promote and enhance the company's global industry competitiveness.
