The price of some power coal declined more sharply in late July

Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on August 5 show that coal prices across the country fell steadily in late July. The specific price changes of each kind of coal are as follows:

Anthracite (No. 2 washing block) price is 1091.5 CNY/ton, which is 14.3 CNY/ton lower than the previous period, with a decline of 1.3%. The price of ordinary blended coal (4500 cards) was 456.4 CNY/ton, which was 6.5 CNY/ton lower than the previous period, with a decline of 1.4%.

Shanxi Dahun (5000 cards) price was 511.4 CNY/ton, down 6.5 CNY/ton from the previous period, a decline of 1.3%.Shanxi Youmix (5500 cards) price is 575 CNY/ton, down 2.9 CNY/ton from the previous period, the decline is 0.5%.

The price of Datong blended coal (5800 calories) is 605 CNY/ton, which is the same as the previous period. The price of coking coal (1/3 coking coal) is 1380 CNY/ton, which is the same as the previous period. The above-mentioned data show that coking coal remained stable in late July, anthracite prices fell, and some power coal prices fell more sharply.

In addition, the national coke (secondary coke) price was set at 1816.5 CNY/ton, up 72.2 CNY/ton, or 4.1%, for the first time since mid-June.
