Saudi Arabia and the United States remained the world's most profitable company

On Monday, Saudi Arabia's Saudiaramco said on August 13 that despite falling oil prices, Saudi Arabia remained the world's most profitable company in the first half of this year, with almost all net income being used for dividends.
Saudi Arabia, a state-owned energy giant, said in its first half-year earnings report that profits fell 12% to $46.9 billion in the first half of this year, but that figure still easily surpassed those of giants such as Apple, Amazon and other major oil producers, which were hit by declining production and oil prices. Profits have fallen even more. Harid Dabbagh, senior vice president of finance, strategy and development in Saudi Arabia and the United States, told reporters recently: "We have some of the largest and most productive oil and gas fields on the planet. At a time when oil prices are falling, Saudi Arabia's "financial performance" proves our resilience.
Saudi Arabia and the United States paid a dividend of $46.4 billion in the first half of this year. This includes a special expenditure of $20 billion to the Saudi government, its owner, compared with $6 billion last year. According to T. Rowe Price Group, an asset management company, potential investors are particularly interested in Ahmed's performance before the first public offering (IP0) is planned for 2020 or 2021.
