Recently, Chongqing Chuanwei Chemical Company launched its first sales order for EVOH (ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer) synthetic resin products. After loading, the products were driven to the customer's location. EVOH is a kind of thermoplastic high barrier resin. Its oxygen resistance is 10,000 times that of polyethylene, which is a common product of the same kind. Because of its good barrier, weather resistance, forming and environmental protection, EVOH is widely used in high-end new materials such as automobile fuel tanks, films, food containers and ground heating pipes. The market value of this product is not bad, but it has been dominated by foreign-funded enterprises. Since 2012, after independent innovation, scientific research cooperation, pilot scale-up, pilot production and customer trial, Chuanwei Chemical Company successfully launched the first batch of improved EVOH products in early June this year, filling the gap in the mainland market.
