The top 500 private enterprises account for half of the four provinces

Media recently focused on the latest list of 500 private enterprises in mainland China by 2019. Statistics show that Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong and Guangdong have a total of 296 enterprises, accounting for half of the list.

According to the analysis of reports, the private enterprises almost dominate the economic growth of these provinces in terms of the proportion of GDP. Taking Guangdong as an example, in 2018, the added value of Guangdong's private economy was 5.26 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.3%, accounting for 54.1% of the GDP. The added value of Guangdong's private economy maintained the first place in the whole country. Zhejiang also had 654.23 million market participants, of which 627.35 million were private economic participants, by the end of 2018. 95.9%. Analysts believe that the reason why these provinces have many high-quality private enterprises is related to the background of promoting the development of private economy in mainland China in recent years.
