Anke Bio and Afana Collaborate on mRNA Vaccines for Mutant Strains Such as COVID-19 Omicron
On May 16, Anke Bio announced that the company and Afana recently signed a formal "cooperation agreement", and reached a consensus on the development and industrialization of "COVID-19 Omicron and other mutant mRNA vaccines".
Previously, Anke Bio signed the "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" with Afana on April 12, 2022. The two parties established a strategic partnership and gave full play to their respective advantages to develop a "New Crown Omicron and other mutant mRNA vaccines". Exclusive cooperation in preclinical research, clinical research, industrialization and marketing work.
Based on the above-mentioned "Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement", Anke Biology and Afana recently signed a formal "Cooperation Agreement", and reached a consensus on the development and industrialization of "New Crown Omicron and other mutant mRNA vaccines". This cooperation does not constitute a connected transaction, nor does it constitute a major asset reorganization as stipulated in the "Administrative Measures for Major Asset Restructuring of Listed Companies". According to the "Shenzhen Stock Exchange's Growth Enterprise Market Listing Rules", "Articles of Association" and other relevant regulations, this matter does not need to be submitted to the company's board of directors and shareholders' meeting for deliberation.
