Manufacturing industry is the foundation of power

Industry is the foundation of a nation and a strong country. After 70 years of development in New China, especially since the reform and opening up, China's industry has successfully achieved a big leap from small to large, from weak to strong, making China grow from a poor and backward agricultural country to the world's largest industrial producer.
In the past 70 years, China's industry has been breaking through at an unprecedented speed. Industrial added value increased from 12 billion yuan in 1952 to 30 516 billion yuan in 2018, an increase of 970.6 times in constant prices, with an average annual growth of 11%. On Sept 20, the new China Office held a press conference. Miao Wei, Minister of the Ministry of industry and commerce, introduced the achievements and highlights of industrial development in the past 70 years with five key words: the first big manufacturing country, the complete industrial system, the innovation driven development, the deep integration of two technologies, and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Miao Wei stressed that in the past 70 years, our Party United and led the people of all nationalities in China to self-reliance and arduous struggle, actively exploring and boldly practicing, and successfully developed a new industrialization development road with Chinese characteristics, which has gone through hundreds of years of industrialization process in developed countries, creating a miracle in the history of human development.
70 years ago, because of the long war chaos, the industrial foundation was very weak, and the industrial enterprises were poorly equipped and backward in technology, and only a small amount of rough products could be produced. After 70 years of development in New China, especially since the reform and opening up, China's industry has successfully achieved a big leap from small to large, from weak to strong, and made China grow from a poor and backward agricultural country into the world's largest industrial producer. Chinese industry has made great contributions to the realization of the Chinese nation's historical leap from standing up to becoming stronger.
in the past 70 years since the founding of new China, especially since the reform and opening up, China's industry has achieved a historic leap. In 1992, China's industrial added value broke through the 1 trillion yuan mark, in 2007 it broke through the 10 trillion yuan mark, in 2012 it broke through the 20 trillion yuan mark, and in 2018 it broke through the 300 trillion yuan mark. According to the World Bank, China's manufacturing added value surpassed that of the United States as the largest manufacturing country in 2010, marking that China has regained its status as the largest manufacturing country in the world after one and a half centuries since the mid-nineteenth century.
Take iron and steel as an example. In 1949, China's steel output was only 158 thousand tons, accounting for only 0.1% of the world's steel production. In 1958, during the Great Leap Forward period, we still struggled to produce 10 million 700 thousand tons of steel. By 2018, China's steel output had exceeded 9 billion tons, increasing by several thousand times, and the long term occupied half of the world's steel.
In 2018, China's manufacturing value added accounted for more than 28% of the world's total value and became an important engine to drive global industrial growth. Among the 500 main industrial products in the world, more than 220 kinds of industrial products account for the highest output in China.
On Sept 17, General Secretary Li came to the investigation and investigation of the coal mine machinery group (hereinafter referred to as "Zheng coal machine (6.230, 0, 0%)". China must engage in a real economy, manufacturing industry is an important foundation for the real economy, and self-reliance is the basis for our struggle, he said.
It stressed that our manufacturing industry is the largest in the world, but we must continue to climb up, innovate and drive to achieve transformation and upgrading. Through technological innovation and industrial innovation, we are moving from the middle and low end to the middle and high end in the industrial chain. We must improve our manufacturing industry and the real economy so as to achieve the goal of "two hundred years" in a solid way.
Jiao Chengyao, chairman of Zhengzhou coal machinery company, said in an interview with first financial reporter that the company's two main industries are all manufacturing industries. In the long term, we should focus on the transformation of lean production and automated production lines. We should learn from BOSCH's industrial 4 technology, transform from local to build a complete intelligent production system, build intelligent factories, and promote production management, technological process and enterprise management. All-round upgrade.
Complete industrial system
Our country has built a complete, independent and complete modern industrial system, and the scale of industrial economy has leaped to the top in the world.
In the early days of new China, our country could produce only a few daily consumer goods such as yarn, cloth, matches, soap and flour. After 70 years of rapid development, especially since the reform and opening up, China's industrial production capacity has increased rapidly, and the output of major industrial products has entered the forefront of the world. Raw coal, iron and steel, building materials, chemical industry and other energy raw materials industry has formed a huge production capacity.
In 2018, the output of raw coal was 3.68 billion tons, an increase of 115 times over 1949; the output of crude steel was 930 million tons, an increase of 5799 times; the output of cement was 2.21 billion tons, an increase of 3344 times; the output of flat glass 870 million weight boxes, an increase of 803 times; and the output of fertilizer was 54.244 million tons, an increase of 9040 times.
At the beginning of the founding of new China, comrade pointed out: "apart from making tables, chairs, teapots and teapots, grinding out the grain into flour, a car, an airplane, a tank and a tractor can not be built." At present, China has become the only country in the world with all the industrial categories listed in the United Nations Industrial Classification. Its industrial added value has increased from 12 billion yuan in 1952 to more than 30 trillion yuan in 2018, an increase of about 971 times at constant prices, with an average annual increase of 11%.
Miao Wei said that China attaches great importance to the construction of the industrial system. Since the first five year plan, it has devoted its limited resources to the industrial sector, which has laid a solid foundation for the development of industrialization. After 70 years of development, we now have 41 industrial classes, 207 industrial classes and 6 industrial classes.
