The global power coal market will have a bleak outlook in the fourth quarter

On September 23, analysts at Citigroup said that the global power coal market will have a bleak outlook in the fourth quarter of 2019 and even 2020, as global energy demand remains tepid and natural gas prices continue to fall.
Decline in global energy demand and falling natural gas prices have led to a decrease in coal consumption and prices. Despite lower prices, the supply of coal in China, South Africa and South Africa has been increasing, which will overturn the coal market in 2020.
