Cologne KROHNE and SAMSON Establish Joint Venture Company

On September 19, 2019, KROHNE and SAMSON held a press conference in Frankfurt, on the banks of the Main River to officially announce the birth of the joint venture FOCUS-ON. Under the background of German process industry 4.0, FOCUS-ON came into being, devoted to the development, production and sales of automation execution agencies. FoCUS-ON is registered in Dodrecht, Netherlands, and Cologne shares the same shares as SAMSON. Based on more than 25 years of global marketing cooperation between the two companies, Dr. Andreas Widl, CEO of SAMSON Group, and Stephan Neuburger, CEO of Cologne Company initiated the intention of establishing strategic partnership in the field of process instrumentation, and finally established FOCUS-ON joint venture. Intelligent Process Node combines sensors, actuators and controls. The module measures the flow rate in the pipeline and adjusts its valve function independently to achieve a specific set value. Because of the integration of flow, temperature and pressure measurement sensors, the device can identify and predict cavitation phenomena, and can avoid or significantly reduce the increase of stress and the wear of valves and pipes.
