$2.5 billion advance! Nigeria will vigorously develop natural gas projects
NNPC announced a US $2.5 billion advance payment agreement with nlng for the upstream gas development project, which was disclosed on Friday by NNPC office building. NNPC produces liquefied natural gas for export, which is jointly owned by NNPC and shell, total and Eni. According to the data of international group of LNG importers, Nigeria was the fifth largest LNG producer in the world last year, and its ranking fell from the fourth place due to the decline of production and the substitution of the United States. NNPC operates six LNG units in bonny Island, the so-called "train". On twitter, NNPC said that the prepayment agreement is "to provide 1-6 series of natural gas liquefaction units for upstream natural gas development projects". The statement did not provide further details.
