In September 2019, the ex factory price of industrial producers dropped by 1.2%

In September 2019, the factory price of national industrial producers dropped 1.2% year-on-year and rose 0.1% month on month; the purchase price of industrial producers fell 1.7% year on year and rose 0.2% month on month. From January to September, on average, the ex factory price of industrial producers was the same as that of the same period last year, and the purchase price of industrial producers fell by 0.3%. First, the price of means of production decreased by 2.0% year-on-year, and the decrease was 0.7 percentage points higher than that of last month, which affected the overall level of factory price of industrial producers by about 1.52 percentage points. Among them, the price of mining industry increased by 0.6%, the price of raw material industry decreased by 4.8%, and the price of processing industry decreased by 1.2%. The price of living materials increased by 1.1% year on year, 0.4 percentage points higher than that of last month, which affected the overall level of factory prices of industrial producers by about 0.28 percentage points. Among them, the price of food increased by 3.3%, the price of clothing increased by 0.9%, the price of general daily necessities increased by 0.8%, and the price of durable consumer goods decreased by 1.8%. In the purchase price of industrial producers, the price of agricultural and sideline products increased by 4.7%, the price of building materials and non-metallic materials increased by 3.7%, the price of ferrous materials increased by 1.8%; the price of chemical raw materials decreased by 7.9%, the price of fuel and power decreased by 4.2%, and the price of non-ferrous materials and wires decreased by 1.5%. The second is the change of industrial producer price on a month on month basis. Among them, the price of mining industry dropped by 0.5%, and the prices of raw material industry and processing industry were flat. The price of living materials rose 0.5% month on month, an increase of 0.3 percentage points over the previous month, which affected the overall level of factory prices of industrial producers to rise by about 0.13 percentage points. Among them, the price of food rose by 1.0%, the price of general daily necessities rose by 0.3%, and the price of clothing and durable consumer goods rose by 0.1%. In the purchase price of industrial producers, the price of agricultural and sideline products increased by 2.2%, the price of non-ferrous metal materials and wires increased by 0.9%, the price of building materials and non-metallic materials increased by 0.4%; the price of ferrous metal materials decreased by 1.0%, and the price of fuel and power decreased by 0.1%.
