The fifth session of the oil and gas forum takes the theme of "one belt and one road energy fate construction" as the theme, and explores new ideas and new ways of energy cooperation and development in the new era. At present, with the deepening of "one belt and one road", China's energy cooperation with foreign countries has made great achievements. The "one belt and one way" energy cooperation is in line with the common interests of the regional countries and brings important development opportunities to all countries along the line. However, the huge differences in political environment and legal system of various countries also make the cooperation face severe challenges.

Zhou Shouwei, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering and vice chairman of China Association of science and technology, said: "in China's energy structure adjustment, natural gas is the focus. In 2018, natural gas consumption accounted for 7.8% of the energy structure, and will reach 15% by 2030. By 2035, China's natural gas consumption will double, possibly to 260 billion cubic meters. " According to Zou Caicai, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, "at present, China has entered an era of equal emphasis on unconventional oil and gas development, and the development of natural gas has entered a golden age. Last year, China became the first country to import natural gas, and the proportion of natural gas consumption has reached 43%. China has increased the exploration and development of unconventional oil and gas and achieved rapid development. " With the rapid development of natural gas industry, LNG will play a more important role in the end market of natural gas industry. Under the background of "one belt and one way" natural gas international cooperation, how to understand the development prospect of the LNG industry in the new situation and explore the strategy of promoting the LNG market and the high quality development of the industry has become a new topic in the oil and gas industry.
