The added value of industries above designated size increased by 5.6%

On November 14, the new office of the people's Republic of China held a press conference, which was introduced by Liu Aihua, spokesman of the National Bureau of statistics. Liu Aihua, spokesman of the National Bureau of statistics, pointed out that the industry continued to grow in October and new products in new industries grew rapidly. From January to October, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 5.6%, which was the same as that from January to September. In October, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 4.7% year on year, 1.1 percentage points lower than that of last month. In terms of economic types, the added value of state-owned holding enterprises increased by 4.8%, that of joint-stock enterprises by 5.4%, and that of enterprises invested by foreign investors, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan by 2.1%. In terms of three categories, the added value of mining industry increased by 3.9%, manufacturing industry by 4.6%, and power, heat, gas and water production and supply industry by 6.6%. The added value of high-tech manufacturing industry increased by 8.3%, 3.6 percentage points faster than that of industries above designated size. Among them, the medical equipment and instrument manufacturing industry, electronic and communication equipment manufacturing industry and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry increased by 14.0%, 8.5% and 7.0%, 9.3, 3.8 and 2.3 percentage points faster than those of industries above designated size. The output of optical fiber, solar energy (3.380, 0.00, 0.00%) and micro-computer equipment increased by 59.4%, 28.4% and 9.4% respectively. In the PMI sub index, the production index and the supplier delivery time index are 50.8% and 50.1% respectively, which are higher than the critical point. The expected index of production and operation activities of manufacturing industry is 54.2%, which is in a higher boom range.
