Shanxi issues air pollution control plan, forbids new projects

According to the progress, we will promote the relocation and transformation of heavy polluting enterprises, guide 11 cities divided into districts to carry out the environmental protection relocation of heavy polluting enterprises such as iron and steel, petrochemical, chemical, non-ferrous metal smelting, cement, flat glass, etc. in the main urban area, and orderly promote the gradient transfer and withdrawal of heavy polluting enterprises into the park. The installed capacity of wind power is 1.5 million kilowatts and that of photovoltaic power is 200000 kilowatts. Strict project access, construction of new coal mines and simultaneous construction of coal washing and processing facilities (provincial development and Reform Commission).
