The Chinese Sec-Butyl Acetate Market Remained Largely Stable

The Chinese sec-butyl ACETATE market was firm and prices for some goods increased slightly this week. The operating rate in sec-Butyl Acetate factories was low, and the supply was quite tight. The quoted price from part of factories increased slightly. The downstream demand was flat, and the users were interested in low-prices. The market still had resistance to increase.
Up to September 7, the negotiation price of sec-butyl acetate in East China was in the range of RMB 4,500-4,950/mt, while it in South China was in the range of RMB 4,900-4,950/mt. The negotiation price of sec-butyl acetate in North China was in the range of RMB 4,300-4,900/mt and it in Shandong was in the range of RMB 4,300-4,900/mt. The prices mentioned above were delivered price.
It is predicted that the production intention from sec-butyl acetate companies will be poor. The operating rate will be short. Factories will be willing to increase price. The downstream demand will be limited, influenced by the environment protection supervision. The users will show weak interest in purchasing. The Chinese sec-butyl acetate market will be stable and increase slightly next week.
