China Shipbuilding Group established as the largest shipbuilding group

On the 26th, the founding meeting of China Shipping Group Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing. The former China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. and the former China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. were officially reorganized into China shipbuilding group, becoming the largest shipbuilding group in the world. After the reorganization, China Shipbuilding Group has 147 research institutes, enterprises and listed companies, with a total assets of 790 billion yuan and 310000 employees. It has the largest shipbuilding and repair base in China and the most complete research and development capacity of ships and supporting products, and is able to design and build marine equipment that meets the specifications of the global classification society and the requirements of international general technical standards and safety conventions. China shipbuilding group is the main force in the research, design, production, test and support of naval weapon equipment. They have undertaken the research and production tasks of all the main battle equipment of our navy represented by aircraft carriers and nuclear submarines, providing strong support for the transformation and development of the Navy; they are also the national team and main force for the development of China's shipbuilding industry. In recent years, they have adhered to the path of independent innovation and development, cultivated world-class marine equipment advanced industrial clusters integrating R & D, manufacturing and supporting, such as super large intelligent crude oil tankers, liquefied natural gas transport ships and super large container ships, and led China from the world's largest shipbuilding country to a shipbuilding power. China shipbuilding group said that it is its duty to serve the national strategy, support national defense construction and lead the industry development, focus on the main industry, strengthen innovation driven, and strive to build a world-class shipbuilding group with international competitiveness.
