The Chinese Rutile titanium dioxide market inched up this week. Dealing prices remained largely stable. Some players said that the demand for titanium dioxide got better slightly. The overall trading was modest in the market. Up to September 14, the mainstream negotiation prices for Rutile Titanium Dioxide were in the range of RMB 15,600-17,200/mt. Some goods were traded below RMB 15,500/mt.
Anatase Titanium Dioxide Market Review:

The Chinese anatase titanium dioxide market remained stable this week. The overall operating rate was recovering. The demand for titanium dioxide was still weak. Up to September 14, reference prices for anatase titanium dioxide were in the range of RMB 14,200-15,000/mt by acceptance. The prices include VAT. Some lower prices were even heard.
Forecast:
Pressured by the environmental protection inspection, the overall operating rate is less than 50%. The overall inventory has become tight. But the downstream demand is also weak. It is predicted that the titanium dioxide market may inch up in the short term.
