PPG will launch new products in 2019 powder coating Conference

According to the announcement of PPG company, a new series of PPG environmental protection edge protective coating will be launched at the meeting for the first time. The environmental protection coating adopts a patent pending advanced powder coating technology developed by PPG, combined with uniform edge coverage and special anti-corrosion performance. In the single coating system without primer, the coating marks a significant technological progress of PPG. Shelley Verdun, global powder coating product manager, PPG, said the coatings were the first single coating systems in the industry to successfully combine edge coverage with excellent corrosion resistance. PPG this new product is specially designed to cover the sharp edges of parts produced in the metal manufacturing process. From past experience, these edges are vulnerable to corrosion when exposed to salt, moisture and other hazardous environments. As a single coating system, PPG's product can be applied without modifying the existing coating line, without using mechanical edge grinding or equipment to polish the edge. The coating is fully recyclable and offers manufacturers the potential to reduce warranty claims and increase resale value, extending the life of coated parts. It is reported that PPG will also participate in the 2019 powder coating technology project. Scott Moffat, market manager of PPG construction products, will introduce "Application of construction powder in memorial construction market" at a breakthrough meeting on April 4.
