Jiangsu Baima Agricultural International Expo Center put into operation

It is reported that Jiangsu Baima Agricultural International Expo Center has been put into use. Nanjing Baima national agricultural science and Technology Park was upgraded to Jiangsu Nanjing national agricultural high tech Industrial Demonstration Zone (hereinafter referred to as "Nanjing Agricultural High tech Zone"), becoming the first batch and the only national agricultural high tech Zone in the province. Baima Agricultural Expo Center is located in the core area of Nanjing Agricultural High tech Zone, with a total area of 45000 square meters. It is the largest agricultural professional Expo Center in China. The exhibition hall has a net exhibition area of 10000 square meters, with 500 standard booths, 15 meeting rooms and a conference hall with 3000 participants. Today, about 300 member units from China Agricultural Exhibition Association gather in Baima Agricultural Expo Center to summarize the work in 2019 and discuss the development opportunities of agricultural exhibition industry. Liu Dexiong, Secretary General of China Agricultural Exhibition Association, said that at present, it is the best opportunity period for the development of agricultural exhibition industry. As the only agricultural exhibition center located in the park, Baima Agricultural Expo Center has distinctive characteristics. Meanwhile, the park is the first batch of agricultural demonstration areas in China, with gathering scientific and educational resources, good industrial foundation and obvious advantages in the development of exhibition industry.

It is reported that Baima Agricultural Expo Center has attracted influential agricultural exhibitions such as Asian fruit and vegetable industry expo and world strawberry brand conference to settle in permanently, and will hold two professional summits and forums this month. It is reported that Nanjing Agricultural High tech Zone will take green and intelligent agriculture as the theme, biological agriculture as the leading industry, build international agricultural science and Technology Cooperation Demonstration Zone, Yangtze River Delta agricultural science and technology innovation source, science and technology revitalization rural model zone, and "science and technology" elements run through it. At present, the science and education resources of Nanjing Agricultural High tech Zone are concentrated. Seven colleges and universities, including Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing Forestry University, Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas, have settled in, 80 scientific research platforms above the municipal level have been built, more than 350 agricultural science and technology projects have been undertaken, and more than 650 agricultural science and technology achievements have been achieved.
