Liaoyang Petrochemical's monthly output of ethylene oxide hits record high
Liaoyang Petrochemical's ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol unit continued to maintain stable operation at full load. The monthly output of ethylene oxide reached 22,680 tons and the equivalent ethylene oxide output reached 23,341 tons, all hitting a record high.
Since the start of the major overhaul, Liaoyang Petrochemical has deepened the potential of the plant, continued to carry out technical transformation and optimization, and carried out load-lifting operation tests on systems such as carbon dioxide removal, ethylene oxide absorption analysis and ethylene oxide refining. Liaoyang Petrochemical mobilized the technical staff's initiative, replaced the catalyst and boiler feed pump, and added plate heat exchangers to accurately locate and solve the bottleneck problem of the device operation. The operator carefully inspects and closely monitors the operation of the catalyst in real time to ensure that the optimization measures "fall to the ground" are effective.
