IGM of the Netherlands acquires Litian Technology
Recently, IGM announced that it has acquired Litian Technology, a leading manufacturer of UV-curable raw materials in China. According to IGM, this acquisition is not only an important step in IGM's "Go, Grow, Green" strategy, but also indicates that IGM will expand its influence on a global scale, enhance its global capacity supply chain, and further consolidate its diversified product portfolio model. Headquartered in Rudong, Litian Technology has more than 45 years of company history and 23 years of experience in the UV light market. It is currently the second largest manufacturer of UV-curable monomer resins in China, with a high market share and good reputation in Asia. . Litian Technology offers a complete portfolio of monomers and oligomers, as well as polyether polyol capacity. 80% of the electricity in the park where the company is located comes from wind power and is connected to the grid, and it has the largest wind turbine in Asia. Litian Technology can produce all products through the self-developed toluene-free process to meet market demand, and continue to invest in "three wastes" treatment technologies and facilities.
IGM said that while the company is deploying a sustainable global development route, it also hopes to further expand its global business blueprint and improve its capacity supply chain. At the same time, the backward integration of Litian Technology ensures a stable supply of raw materials for UV curing production, laying a foundation for future professional development. In addition, Litian Technology's broad product portfolio further strengthens IGM's presence in strategic markets, especially in industrial coatings, printing and packaging, and electronics. The acquisition will also allow IGM to have production bases in both China and the United States, allowing it to expand its radiation-curable materials business globally.
