A few days ago, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation released the economic performance of the national petrochemical industry in the first half of 2022. Data show that in the first half of the year, the economic performance of the petrochemical industry exceeded expectations at the beginning of the year. Enterprises above designated size in the industry achieved operating income of 8.13 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.9%; total profit was 752.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24%.
The number of enterprises above designated size has increased significantly. As of the end of June, the number of enterprises above designated size in the petrochemical industry was 28,500, an increase of 1,823 compared with the same period last year. "Compared with the same period last year in the first half of this year, the number of enterprises above designated size has increased even more," said Fu Xiangsheng, vice president of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. , accelerate the adjustment of structure, promote transformation and increase efficiency, and further improve the scale, large-scale and agglomeration of the petrochemical industry. On the other hand, the innovation capability, management level, development level and development quality of a group of small and medium-sized enterprises have been continuously improved, and after the scale has increased, they have entered the sequence of enterprises above designated size.
Import and export of foreign trade grew well. In the first half of the year, the total import and export value of the petrochemical industry was 515.72 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 28.6%, of which the export value was 171.64 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%.
