The ex factory price of industrial producers rose 0.1% year on year
In January 2020, the factory price of national industrial producers rose 0.1% year-on-year and remained unchanged month on month; the purchase price of industrial producers fell 0.3% year on year and rose 0.2% month on month.
Among the changes of industrial producer prices on a month-on-month basis, the price of means of production decreased by 0.4% year on year, 0.8% lower than that of last month, affecting the overall level of producer prices by about 0.27%. Among them, the price of mining industry increased by 4.7%, the price of raw material industry decreased by 0.8%, and the price of processing industry decreased by 0.6%. The price of living materials increased by 1.3% year on year, the same increase as last month, which affected the overall level of factory price of industrial producers to rise by about 0.35%. Among them, the price of food rose by 5.1%, the price of clothing fell by 0.3%, the price of general daily necessities remained unchanged, and the price of durable consumer goods fell by 2.3%. Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the price of agricultural and sideline products increased by 7.0%, the price of building materials and non-metallic materials increased by 2.9%, the price of ferrous materials increased by 1.6%; the price of chemical raw materials decreased by 6.1%, the price of non-ferrous materials and wires decreased by 0.7%, and the price of fuel and power decreased by 0.2%.
Changes of industrial producer prices on a month on month basis among the ex factory prices of industrial producers, the prices of means of production were flat on a month on month basis. Among them, the price of mining industry increased by 0.8%, the price of raw material industry increased by 0.3%, and the price of processing industry decreased by 0.1%. The cost of living materials was flat on a month on month basis. Among them, the prices of food and clothing were flat, and the prices of general daily necessities and durable consumer goods were down 0.1%. Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, the price of fuel and power increased by 1.0%, the price of non-ferrous metal materials and wires increased by 0.4%, the price of ferrous metal materials, building materials and non-metallic materials all increased by 0.1%; the price of agricultural and sideline products remained the same.
