NDRC deploys energy supply guarantee work in response to epidemic situation

Recently, the reporter learned from the national energy administration that the national development and Reform Commission and the national energy administration had recently held a teleconference to mobilize and redeploy the work of energy supply guarantee in response to the epidemic, and demanded that efforts be made to guarantee the supply of coal, electricity, oil and gas. The meeting requested that we should highlight the key points of supply guarantee, refine various measures, further clarify the target of supply guarantee work, focus on ensuring the epidemic areas such as Wuhan City in Hubei Province and other central cities, focus on ensuring the designated medical institutions for epidemic diagnosis and treatment, key material production enterprises, isolated hotels, communities and other key parts, and focus on ensuring people's livelihood heating energy. In terms of power supply, we will strengthen the construction and guarantee of power facilities in hospitals, centers for Disease Control and prevention, epidemic prevention headquarters, vaccine research and development, and medical supplies manufacturing enterprises, strengthen the power supply guarantee in the field of people's livelihood, strengthen the safe and stable operation of the power grid, and strengthen emergency duty. In areas with low inventory level of electric coal and tight balance of power supply and demand, make corresponding plans, and take orderly power consumption measures for high energy consuming enterprises when necessary.

In terms of coal supply, we will coordinate the prevention and control of epidemic diseases and coal mine production, and speed up the organization of coal mine resumption. Optimize the coordination of transportation organization and production and transportation needs, do a good job in coal supply in areas with serious epidemic situation, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, northeast and other areas, provide green channel support for coal transportation, prohibit setting restrictions in various names, and affect the normal circulation of coal. In terms of oil and gas supply, we should scientifically organize production, strengthen the connection between production, transportation and sales, put market resources in order, maintain a reasonable inventory level, unblock oil and gas transportation channels, and scientifically and reasonably arrange the operation of gas stations and filling stations. In terms of heat supply, the principle of "electricity is suitable for electricity, gas is suitable for gas, coal is suitable for coal, and heat is suitable for heat" shall be thoroughly implemented to ensure the supply of natural gas, electricity and coal in heating season, further improve the emergency plan, formulate reserve measures such as natural gas supply, additional purchase of electric power outside the area, and solve the problems in heating in time.
